Here we guarantee your loved one will have as much fun as possible while becoming wellmannered and learning the basic obedient commands that will make them as much a part of the family as you are. Your pet is very important to us and our promise is to work hard to try and make your pet a pleasure to be around for your family and guests.

"Shortly after graduating high school I decided that I wanted to become an obedience trainer and began working at a boarding facility that offered training as a supplemental service to their clients. There I gained techniques that I have personally seen improve owner-pet relationships first-hand. After completing Animal Behavior College and receiving a training certification, I began training here at Firehall 4 Animal Hospital"

NEW CLASSES AT FLAMING PAWS!
Clicker Classes:
NOW ENROLLING FOR FALL CLICKER CLASS!!
Class begins Thursday, October 25 at 6:30 pm and will meet every Thursday night from 6:30-8:30 pm for 7 weeks.
Cost: $125 ---7 week course; parents only on night one
In clicker foundation we will teach you the skills needed to get rid of the behaviors you don't want and to keep the behaviors you do want. This class is taught using operant conditioning, which is using entirely positive methods. Using a clicker helps the pet to identify the behavior faster while having an enjoyable experience with your pet.
*Sign up is required. The Clicker Foundation Classes have a 5 dog maximum and a 3 dog minimum to run the class.

Who may attend?
Any puppy that is between the ages of 9 weeks and 5 months of age. Puppies must be current on vaccinations. The puppy's human family are more than welcome to attend.
What do I need to bring?
Regular nylon collar and 4 or 6 foot nylon leash. Plenty of tasty pea - sized dog treats. A fold up chair (if available). A hungry puppy and a smile:)
When does the class start?
Week One begins September 24th at 6:30 pm.
Week Two begins October 1st at 6:30 pm.
Week Three begins October 8th at 6:30 pm.
Week Four begins October 15th at 6:30 pm.
Where is the class held?
Class is held in the training room at Firehall 4 Animal Hospital. Please parkin the rear of the building and enter through the main door at the rear of the building.
Why is Puppy Pre-school important for my puppy and I?
Puppy Pre-school helps new puppy owners understand their new puppy and safely expose them to their new world. The puppies will learn basic commands, play and socialize with other puppies and learn how to behave in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.
How much does Puppy Pre-school cost?
The cost of the course is $75 for the 4 weeks.

Flaming Paws Obedience Classes:
Board-n-Train
Board-n-Train is a program designed especially for dog owners who love and care for their pet and desire training but may be too busy to attend group classes. This program allows the students to spend 5 consecutive days at Firehall 4's new state of the art boarding facility. Each of the 5 days will include 4 training sessions, for a total of 20 training sessions by the end of day 5. Students will be given the opportunity to have one-on-one play sessions, leisurely walks, and also agility fun time. To ensure adequate rest all students will be required to take a 1 hour nap or just be asked to relax in their deluxe run or suite in order to prepare for the remainder of the day. (Offered Monday-Friday)
Program will include learning of the following commands:
Leash walking (including Loose Leash walking), sit, lay down, stay come, wait, off, and leave it. Depending on your dog's progress, these will sometimes vary.
Schedule:
Drop-Off: Monday @ 7:30am
Pick-Up: Friday after 3:00pm

Doggie Day Care Training
We offer Doggie Day Care not only if you want day care for your pet, but also if you desire training for your pet as well. If you do not want to leave your loved one over night, Flaming Paws allows you to drop your pet off for the day and have them trained while they are here to have fun.
Schedule:
Drop-Off Daily between 7:30-9:00am
Pick-Up Daily between 5:00-6:00pm
Price: $50/day*

One-on-One Training
This program is designed for those who would like to train their dog themselves but need personalized instruction. Owner may sign up to meet and work with the trainer anytime Monday-Friday from 7:30a-4:00p
Price: $50/hour
