SEPTEMBER is Flea Awareness Month!!!
As summer begins to come to a wrap, it is still
necessary to keep your pet/s on flea control monthly,
as October is actually the peak flea season.
Here are a few signs that your pet may have fleas:
- Excessive Scratching
- Hair Loss Around Tail Base
- Chewing at Self
- Seeing Tapeworms In Stool or Around Rear
- Black pepper like dirt in skin (Flea Dirt)
*Also scratching may be due to an allergic reaction to the flea bite
causing further treatment like medication to give your pet relief.

Raffle Drawing Sept 30th @ Noon
Project Safe’s Mission: Working to end domestic violence through crisis intervention, ongoing supportive services, systems change advocacy, and prevention and education in the community.
Firehall 4 is offering a $1.00 Raffle ticket to win a free box of Comfortis flea prevention. Approximately a $95-$100 value. All proceeds will go to benefit Project Safe. Drawing will be held September 30 2010 at 12:00. (Attendance not necessary).
